CSS Specificity is something that, until recently, I wasn’t very aware of.
Read more Comments:I ran into a tricky CSS border issue yesterday: top borders are not displayed the same way as bottom borders. This appears to be by browser consensus rather than design, it’s grey area that the standards apparently deliberately don’t specify. But it appears on all the browsers I can get my hands on, which is a good indication then that this is the de facto standard.
